OpenTable is a leading provider of free, real-time online restaurant reservations for diners and reservation and guest management solutions for restaurants and recently added a Facebook application, “Reservations”, which allows users that “Like” the restaurant business page to make an on-line reservation!

Simply select a date, time and party to search for availability.  The Reservation application will search for availability and provide times before and after the requested reservation as well.

Select the time you wish to make the reservation, and then type in your name, e-mail address and a phone number to reserve a table – it’s that simple!

You immediately receive a confirmation number as well as a confirmation via e-mail.  You also have the ability to “cancel” the reservation if needed.

We spend a lot of time on Facebook, and we love to eat, why not choose your favorite restaurant and make a reservation all within the convenience of Facebook!

This is my “Facebook Application of the Week” and my suggestion to any restaurant owner who is already using the “Open Table Reservation System” – include this application wthin your Facebook page!

Note: You must be an OpenTable partner restaurant to install this application. If you are a new restaurant to the OpenTable network, then please note it can take up to 30 days for your restaurant to be able to add the application.

The OpenTable application is only available for your restaurant’s Facebook business page. You must provide your restaurant’s OpenTable ID to add the application.
